The Corona Virus entered our lives as a despicable guest. It forced us to change habits and lifestyle. We learnt to deal with it day by day just like an equilibrist on his wire.<\/p>\n
It was hard for everybody to give up with long term planning, to come to terms with restrictions, and to give up with contacts and conviviality. Yet those who planned their wedding during this period had to struggle hard with changes of the date and every new uncertainty increased their sorrow.
\nMinimoony was born during this period of distress. Back in time, I would have said it was reckless. Who would disagree? Giving up with an assured job to start again planning events during a period in which they\u2019re forbidden sounds a bit crazy. Who would have done this? But a friend of mine suggested I should follow my heart after I spoke about my project with her. I tell you this story because it is functional to the message I want to convey to those who intended to get married during this period.<\/p>\n
I am aware that I might sound like a smart ass by writing this reflection as an intimate wedding planner. Yet, believe it or not, I\u2019m not a smart ass. Take it as a piece of advice by a friend who managed to get married in august 2020. I did it by reluctantly shortening my list of guests. Despite this, I found out a new way of celebrating that I would retrospectively choose again and again. Thus, I sincerely suggest you should follow your hearts. Let love win rather than a virus. The hashtag #loveisnotcancelled went viral on the web during last year. Let\u2019s make it real.<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t worry, there are infinite ways to celebrate your love. Nowadays, it can\u2019t be a conventional or luxurious and crowded celebration. Never mind. You can celebrate again in the future, yet in the meanwhile you should find your own way to say \u201cI do\u201d. For instance, you can go for either a micro-wedding or an elopement wedding with a symbolic ceremony. Employ creativity and care for details to plan an event that will speak of yourself and of the person you love. Select a location and set it up so that it will summon a magical atmosphere, be it a wood, a boat in the midst of a lake or the garden of your home. Don\u2019t forget to involve the people you care of, even if they can\u2019t stand by you. Send them some clues to guess what you are planning for exchanging your promises rather then a simple announcement. After the wedding, do send them pictures and videos of your ceremony.<\/p>\n
Finally, devote some time for yourselves: pamper yourselves, allow yourselves to enter the atmosphere. Transform your bathroom in a spa, organize a candlelight dinner, write down your promises and then\u2026 get married in a minimalist way: celebrate your love with an intimate wedding.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
